Sales and Marketing Report – February 2004

Identa conducted the following sales and marketing activities in February 2004:

  1. Australia and New Zealand

    • Yaacov Shoham, CEO of Identa, participated in Australian Police Summit 2004 (APS04). He was a featured speaker at the plenary session, where he presented the company`s products and the advantages they offer legal law enforcement.

    • Biolab, the company which through a subsidiary (Analytical Technologies) represents Identa and Identa products in Australia and New Zealand, took a stand at the exhibition run in parallel to the Summit and presented Identa products. Over the two-day period, Yaacov Shoham and representatives of the company presented the products to hundreds of police officers of various ranks. All those who heard explanations about the products at the stand also received samples.

    • Identa and Biolab planned the techniques to be used to penetrate the products to the various police departments in Australia.

    • It should be noted that the Australian Customs Service has already been using Identa products for about one year.

    • Even prior to Yaacov Shoham`s visit, Biolab had presented Identa`s products to the New Zealand Police and New Zealand Customs Service, and it is likely we will be able to introduce the products into these agencies.

  2. Trade Shows:

    In the coming months, Identa`s representatives in England and the United States will be participating in the following trade shows:

    • PSDB Exhibition – March 2004, England
    • Keystone University Conference- April 2004, USA
    • GSA-May 2004-Florida,USA ( we do not have a stand)
    • Customs World-September 2004, England

  3. Romania

    The company recently received the first purchase order from the Romanian Ministry of the Interior for about $50,000. It should be noted that this is the first in a series of orders promised for 2004.

  4. United States

    During his recent business trip to the United States, Yaacov Shoham held meetings in Los Angeles and New York. The results of the meetings are as follows:

    • A detailed work plan with Rubenstein Association, the public relations agency working with Identa on penetration of its products into the American legal law enforcement and consumer markets.

    • Opening of an office in New York, including storage services for the kits.

    • Agreement with PassPoint, a company specializing in drug impairment detection services, to represent Identa in several US states where they have a presence. At this stage, they have six offices around the United States.

    • Extended penetration of Identa products in the consumer market to additional chain stores. This will be done through the New York-based company, Timcor, which marketed the products successfully to CVS and Health Home.

    • On February 18, 2004, Identa products were successfully presented and demonstrated to representatives of one of the most important American police agencies. This agency is currently running a field study with the kits sent to them (100 kits). The name of this agency will be announced as soon as an agreement is signed.

    • The PR agency working on behalf of Identa made contact with one of the largest police departments on the West Coast. As of the date of this report, they have received initial informational material about Identa products.
